Honored To Be Here To Represent Your Interests
As you enter the Glendale-Burbank UniServ office there is an apple shaped sign that says, "Touch the future … teach a Child". All of us have been given the opportunity and privilege to shape the future in ways that we may never know. We all can remember a teacher that changed our lives and in the future one of your students will remember how you changed and touched their lives. This is why I became a teacher and why I continue to work to support the important work that teachers do.
My name is Michael Romo and I am honored to have been chosen as your new Executive Director. Dana Ragle and Sue Conway have by now shared with you some of my experience and I intend to use that experience to represent the interests of all the members of the Burbank Teachers Association.
In the coming months I will be visiting schools, meeting teachers and learning about the issues that concern you. I am looking forward to meeting you and having discussions all over the District about educational and Association concerns. |
